The General Tax Authority Collaborates with QU's College of Business and Economics to Deliver the Integrated Marketing Communications Course
The General Tax Authority announces its community partnership with Qatar University represented by the College of Business and Economics. This partnership is embodied in the delivery of the integrated marketing communications course, which aims to equip students with practical experience and develop skills based on realistic input. Within the framework of this partnership, students presented their marketing and awareness campaigns on the role, mission, and objectives of the General Tax Authority, which is central to supporting the national economy and promoting economic diversification. Additionally on November 30, Qatar University hosted a special event where the participating student groups showcased their awareness campaign presentations and were honored by the Authority's representatives in recognition of their outstanding contributions. It is worth noting that in cooperation with the General Tax Authority, the College of Business and Economics has recently introduced a Minor in Taxation. This initiative is part of the Authority’s efforts to empower the next generation of business leaders and entrepreneurs to equip graduates with this specialization with the essential skills and knowledge to boost national academic excellence, bolster Qatarization efforts, and expand the country's pool of qualified tax professionals, aligning seamlessly with the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030.
