The General Tax Authority (GTA) participated in the University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) career fair on November 20th and 21st, with the aim of communicating with talented graduates seeking careers in the tax sector, as part of its keenness to attract national cadres in a manner corresponding with its job vacancy needs, in the context of prioritizing work and contributing to the development and establishment of human forces at the scientific and practical level, in accordance with the training programs available to GTA employees. During its participation in the fair, the GTA presented its plans and programs, as well as introducing the Authority’s main functions and services. The Human Resources Department staff that took part in the fair, also provided an overview of the Authority’s role in economic development, including programs tailored to new employees to develop their technical and functional capacity, in line with the needs of the tax sector. The Authority is committed to participating in career fairs organized by various national educational institutions, in line with its direction to align its human resources strategy to help attract young Qatari talent and prepare future experts to contribute to the development of Qatar’s tax system that is consistent with Qatar National Vision 2030.
