The General Tax Authority (GTA) participated in the 16th Qatar University Career Fair, hosted from September 11 to 14, 2023, at the Student Affairs Building at Qatar University, with the aim of providing opportunities for students and graduates to explore professional opportunities within the labor market, in addition to field training and academic support opportunities. 
The GTA's HR team, who participated in the fair, presented an overview of the Authority and its role in economic development. In addition to providing an explanation of the training and career pathways offered by the GTA and answering students’ inquiries regarding the employment landscape within the tax sector. They also responded to inquiries on how these job opportunities allow graduates to fulfill their ambitions and map their future career trajectories.
The General Tax Authority’s participation in the QU Career Fair aligns with its strategic vision to advance the Human Development pillar of the Qatar National Vision 2030, by introducing career opportunities within the tax sector among national talent and amplifying efforts to promote Qatarization. This, in turn, provides the nation with a pool of highly skilled and specialized professionals in this field.
