The General Tax Authority (GTA) participated in Lusail University's 2nd Career Fair on October 23rd and 24th, an event inaugurated by H.E. Mr. Abdulaziz bin Nasser Al Khalifa, President of the Civil Service and Government Development Bureau. The fair attracted a distinguished group of employees from both the public and private sectors. The GTA’s participation demonstrates its commitment to attract talented graduates seeking careers in the tax sector and aligns with its strategic focus on supporting the national cadres, a cornerstone of its ongoing strategy for investment in human capital development.
Through its booth, the General Tax Authority showcased its pioneering programs designed to attract and train national talent. The pavilion also presented an overview of the GTA's role and key competencies. It also highlighted the services offered to new employees, aimed at developing their professional capabilities to meet the requirements of the tax sector.
Demonstrating its commitment, the GTA actively engages in career fairs organized by various national educational institutions. This aligns with the strategic direction of the GTA, which involves refining its HR strategies and contributing to the development of Qatar’s economic future.
Lusail University, a private national institution founded in 2020, offers approximately 15 undergraduate programs across various academic disciplines in three languages: Arabic, English, and French. These programs are provided through four colleges: the College of Education and Arts, the College of Law, the College of Commerce and Business, and the College of Information Technology.
