His Excellency Mr. Khalifa bin Jassim Al -Jaham Al-Kuwari, President of the General Tax Authority, received Mr. Haider Ali Hussein, Director General of the General Tax Authority of Iraq, and his accompanying delegation. The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views and ideas aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two authorities.

During the meeting, both sides discussed avenues for bilateral cooperation in tax-related fields and reviewed the new initiatives and projects implemented by the General Tax Authority. They also exchanged expertise and insights into the best practices in developing tax systems and services.
