The General Tax Authority (GTA), in collaboration with Visit Qatar participated in the Summer Camp held at the Qatar Toy Festival 2026 as part of Visit Qatar’s "Hala Summer" campaign. The initiative aimed to provide children with an engaging edutainment experience that combines learning with interactive activities while promoting healthy habits in an enjoyable and accessible way.

As part of its participation, the Authority delivered an interactive activity highlighting the importance of reducing sugar consumption and introducing children to the concept of the excise tax on sugar-sweetened drinks.
